1971 International  3200 Gallon Tanker

            This chassis was purchased by Jessie Hamilton of the Town of Hay River for the sum of $1.00 from the Government of the Northwest Territories, because of the circumstances of the purchase it was nicknamed "Big Jessie". The unit was refurbished by volunteers from the Hay River Fire Department, a tank purchased from Westeel Edmonton Alberta and materials supplied by local welders for the cabinets. When the rebuilding was finished it was also painted by volunteers from the Hay River Fire Department.
